INDIGO takes form on a small city called leiria (PT), around november 2005. Gabriel Sousa(vocals) and Paulo Fontes(guitar) both came up with the idea of joining forces and create a whole new concept around funk music based on its groove. After a two year struggle against constant threats regarding the progression of the group, indigo finally reached a "state of union" and musical maturity. The first single "art of living" - self produced (2008) reflects the evolution of a 3 years hard work. Beside the two founders, Sergio Julio joined in the bass along with Goncalo Jacinto in the keys, and later to complete the circle Pedro Costa occupied the drum seat. The main purpose is to carry out a musical message of wellness and happiness in life, not forgetting the groove that settles any chord in a funky style of making rock music.
